Mobile AppCard is now available!
Mobile AppCard is available for new students for fall 2025. Continuing students, faculty and staff will have the opportunity to switch to the Mobile AppCard beginning July 1, 2025.
Your Mobile AppCard acts just like a physical ID card across campus. Your Mobile AppCard holds funds for Dining Dollars & Campus Cash, and faculty/staff declining balance accounts.
It also serves as your:
- meal plan card
- library card
- UREC card
- print card
- and building access card
Your Mobile AppCard is your all-access pass to campus. You will use your Mobile AppCard to make payments around campus and to access university buildings.
All mobile devices use the Transact eAccounts Mobile App available at the Apple App Store or on Google Play.
Terms and Conditions:
By enabling your mobile credential and adding it to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet, you agree to abide by all current and future Appalachian State University campus policies and procedures relative to Appalachian State University Mobile AppCard, and all state and federal regulations related to financial transaction cards. Adding your Mobile AppCard to Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet allows the use of your mobile device in place of your physical AppCard at all of Appalachian State University current ID readers for payments, meal plans, door access, events, and more. You are responsible for all transactions initiated and fees incurred from the use of your Mobile AppCard via third-party platforms. Appalachian State University shall not be liable for any damages resulting from adding your mobile credential to any third-party platform. Any misuse of your Mobile AppCard, including sharing your mobile credential with any other individual, is in strict violation of Appalachian State University policy and will result in disciplinary action.
For any other questions, please visit the App Card Office located in the Campus Store (Second Floor) or email appcardoffice@appstate.edu.
Can I get a physical AppCard?
App State only allows students, faculty and staff to have either the Mobile AppCard or a physical card (not both). New students will be required to have a Mobile AppCard unless they need an exception for a non-comptible device. To request an exception, contact appcardoffice@appstate.edu.
